Making Money with Paid Surveys
I've read a lot of reviews about people making a good income from this type of work but I'll have to say from the very start that I don't like it.
The basic idea with this system is that you sign up to a number of systems that run marketing surveys for various companies. In return for you spending some time to fill in the survey they give you some sort of reward.
On the face of it this seems like a good idea. People come to you and give you money to take a few boxes. I tried this out and very quickly came to the conclusion that it was too much effort for the amount of money you can make (you'll actually find that the sales letters for most products in this area do say it can provide a reasonable income rather than megabucks - by dividing all claims in sales letters by 10 this technique suddenly looks less desirable).
I'm making some very negative statements here so please let me explain why I don't like paid surveys.
- As you earn money for each survey you work through and fill in you are back to earning on a per hour basis. The money you earn is directly related to the number of hours you work. You are never going to get rich doing this. Stick to your day job - you'll earn more doing that!
- I signed up to about 30 of what I was told were the best schemes. After a couple of months I had expected to see a good range of surveys and earnings coming through. The surveys I saw fell into two categories. One which offered you the chance of winning some fabulous prize, for example an iPod, but only after you'd signed up for some other service, and one which did offer real money but at a rate that worked out at $15 per hour maximum (about £9).
- Mostly I ended up getting lots of spam e-mail trying to get me to buy other products or services through the survey scheme.
Maybe I was doing wrong or maybe I was unlucky, but my advice is give this a miss.
If you want to give it a go then please do. The links below will take you to the sales pages for the products shown. Each will better explain the advantages of paid surveys (none seem to detail any disadvantages!) so you can try them out.
