It’s Possible To Visit Some Of The Most Popular Beloved Animated Characters On A Southern California Vacation
I have been to several of the world-class theme parks in Southern California lately. Between them all, you can immerse yourself in the world of a bunch of your favorite TV and movie characters.
We know where to find Mickey Mouse and all his Disney friends-in Anaheim. There are a few really good websites with helpful information about planning a Disneyland vacation. Who doesn’t love the wonderful job Disney has done in creating a fictional universe of lovable characters?
A few miles down the road at Knott’s Berry Farm you’ll find all the Peanuts gang at Camp Snoopy. The Peanuts guys have been at Knott’s Berry Farm for quite awhile now and seem to feel at home there.
Your next stop would be Universal Studios Hollywood and the many TV and movie stars such as Betty Boop, the Hulk, Batman and Spiderman, joined most recently by Homer Simpson and his wonderful family. Lastly, we drive up north a ways and stop at Six Flags Magic Mountain. The features that set this park apart from many others are the Six Flags roller coasters and thrill rides. As soon as you get inside, you realize that the place is run by the Looney Tunes characters from the Warner Brothers cartoons.
You will find Yosemite Sam, Daffy Duck, Sylvester and the Roadrunner, some of whom hang out with the guests. The childrens’ area has attractions centered around these whacky celebrities, which is a nice break from the thrill rides that dominate the place. You won’t have to go too far to find a couple of the Looney Tunes folks here and there in the park.
