What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate marketing is where you promote someone else’s product or service and then earn a commission for every sale you make. Usually you don’t have to worry about handling any goods or dealing with customers - in fact I’d always advise choosing products where you don’t have this added hassle.

This commission based approach is common place both on and off the internet. On the online marketing side of this it is your job to get people to the supplier’s website using various techniques. Once they make a purchase (almost exclusively online) the order is logged against you so that you get your commission.

What Products Can I Promote With Affiliate Marketing?

Basically anything you can think off. There are so many businesses that use affiliate marketing to boost their sales that whatever product or market you want to target you’ll be able to find a range of suppliers. Naturally some types of product will perform better than others and some types of product will offer better commission rates. It is down to you to research and evaluate markets to see where you think you can make the best profit.
